Hi!
My name is Persis and my mission is to share my knowledge and experience of movement and wellness to as many people as I can!
I strive to help people improve their physical and mental health while reducing barriers such as high cost, living in remote locations, and navigating busy schedules.
I education on and implement foundational areas including Movement, Yoga, Breathwork, Nature Therapy, Cold Therapy, Hydration, Basic Nutrition, and Sleep.
With over 15 years of experience in the world of movement and wellness, I've had the pleasure of working with folks from all walks of life. Whether you're looking to move better, reduce chronic pain, recover from an injury, or improve your mental health, I am here to help.
I believe in laying down solid foundations for long-term success. And providing options of movement that will keep you engaged and having fun!
In 2014, I earned my Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Manitoba, and I'm registered with the BC Association of Kinesiologists. I also have certifications in RockTape, RockBlades, Precision Nutrition Coaching, Functional Movement Screening, and most recently obtained my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training.
If you need some extra hands on TLC, I also have skills including Shockwave Therapy, Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR), cupping, IASTM, and Iron Neck Rehabilitation.
When I'm not cheering you on towards your goals, you'll find me soaking up nature's wonders—whether it's hiking, fishing, or chilling at home on my little farm in the mountains.

I wanted to try out the Functional assessment testing to highlight the areas that were sub-par. It was an interesting experience! "If you’ve been thinking about taking the Movement classes, don’t wait. I’ve been attending for almost 2 months now and even though its only once per week I can feel the difference (and it’s really helped my shoulder get better). The workouts are easy but effective and Persis is excellent at modifying movements to adapt them to your level. You don’t need to be fit to attend, that’s what the classes are for.
